“Mothers hold their children’s hands for a short while, but their hearts forever.”

Each of Durga's nine forms represents a powerful feeling.
Our next story is about Binal's journey, she says ""A women's power of loving an unseen, unborn and untouched baby is a miracle". Let's hear her story in her own words.

"Being a mother is a gold crown encrusted with genuine diamonds for a lady. When a wife, daughter, sister, or other woman develops those pink lines, she becomes a mother. No one comes to teach her how to appreciate the tiny life growing inside her. Every woman is unique, but one thing they all have in common is the trait of "Mamta." My pregnant journey taught me how powerful I am since I used to believe that in our male-dominated world, all authority was given to guys, boys, and fathers. I learned that only women have the ability to give birth or bring life into the world. I realized that I have the power to fight with the whole world for my child. With the blessings of Ma Durga and the realization of being powerful, I got the strength to face all the ups and downs of pregnancy and raise a premature baby born in the 8th month with a 980 gm birth weight and 28 days of NICU."
