Hi Doctor, I had normal delivery 1.5 months back and bleeding stopped after 1 month. Again bleeding started at 6 weeks which looks like normal periods bleeding and its been 6 days and still bleeding is there. Can one get periods so soon after delivery? How many days periods bleeding can last for first period after delivery?

Congratulations on your delivery!. Lactational amenorrhea (absent menstruation) is more or less limited to people who exclusively breast feed the babies. To start with, there Is a possibility of you getting back your regular menstruation.  If thats the condition, bleeding can be considered normal for as long as 7 days. I would need more information about your cycle - flow, pads changed etc. Prolonged bleeding might need evaluation.
