Hi Doctor, I have delivered baby through a c section on 7th May. I am doing light walks inside house and lifting only baby. But I am frequently sitting and sleeping as my baby is very fuzzy and needs attention always. This is causing me light body pain. Is this okay? 2. Since lockdown and pandemic situation I might not get good domestic help for long time. So is it okay if I start doing household work? If not how much more rest is required and is it bed rest?

Where am I?

Hi dear,

You can start doing light household chores with frequent rest periods in between but avoid prolonged standing and sitting. Also you should start general exercises to avoid stiffness and pains in body .
