Asked a question last year

I have a 3 month old baby. I give him breast milk during the day time and expressed milk at night time. Sometimes, I get only 50 ml when I express. Sometimes, my baby needs feeds in every 1 hour. So, does my baby get enough breast milk-as we do not measure it like expressed milk?

Where am I?

Hi Aswini

The fact that your baby doesn’t cry after breast feeds means he is satisfied with the feed. There is no reason to measure the breast feeds unless medically indicated which is not so in your case. Continue to do the wonderful job you are doing in terms of breast feeding your baby.
