I have started taking biotin hair vitaliser to mitigate hair loss post delivery. It is 10000 mcg biotin, I am breastfeeding my baby. Please advise is it ok?

As Biotin is a watersoluble vitamin so it doesnot cause toxicity generally  and is excreted out of the body through urine.RDA for lactating mother is 35 microgram.If you are truely deficient in Biotin your doctor may prescribe you higher doses .So please reconfirm your dose with your doctor and also if you need the same or you can just take biotin rich food in place of supplements.
