Hello

As the Babies grow up and get exposed to new sounds and new words, that is how they learn to communicate. the fact that he PGs attention to certain noises he is fond of is indicative of good hearing. children don’t always exhibit consistency in listening unless they are conditioned which is what is happening in case of his favourite TV show. Ideally, under the age of two years, no screen time in any form is advisable. Try introducing the baby to books, engage him in some activity with an adult which involves a lot of two way communication. Babies learn to articulate with their tongue and lips and communicate only by seeing and listening to actual speech by adults
